Recovery

After rhinoplasty, the nose will typically appear swollen during the early recovery period. Cotton gauzes placed inside the nostrils are generally removed after approximately 24 hours.

The final shape of the nose develops gradually, with approximately 3–6 months needed for the nose to fully settle and form.
